INDIAN RAILWAYS NO VACANCY CUT ONLY RESTRUCTURING 

Railway DG (HR) Anand S Khati(HR) railways told a press conference. Relief has reported from the railway side on Friday for the employees.

The railways have said that no work or recruitment is going to reduce. However job profiles of employees can changed in the coming time.

He said that non-security category jobs required for train operation and maintenance surrendered and review all vacant posts. Anand S Khati said surrender of vacant non-security posts will help in provide more safety vacancies for new railway infrastructure projects.  Amd New sectors  created through modern technology  used in railways. Because it is very important to use the resources properly. That’s why the ongoing recruitment drive for various categories of posts will continue as usual. There will be no job cuts in the railways.



He said technical interventions may change some job profiles, in which employees will be efficient again, but there will be no cuts. The railways currently have 12,18,335 employees and 65 per cent of their income spent on payment of salaries and pensions. Since 2018, Railways have notified 72,274 vacancies in safety category and 68,366 in non-safety category.

Recently government also created unified 8 services And created a new post IRMS(just check latest irms news)So now railways working on more skilled and multi-tasking and talented officers with more power in development of new projects.
